Inside the Americana-Inspired Tupelo Honey Cafe, Opening June 1

Photos of the North Carolina favorite.

Missy Frederick is the Cities Director for Eater.

Touches of Americana are everywhere inside the Arlington location of Tupelo Honey Cafe. The North Carolina favorite arrives in the D.C. market June 1.

Mason jars, an American flag carving, and a farm-themed mural among those touches. The artwork comes courtesy of Asheville artist Simone Wilson and local artists Karen Tarlton and Anya Getter.

The 6,589 square foot restaurant has plenty of bar space, televisions, more than 200 seats and wooden furniture splashes of blues and copper

There will be an outdoor patio as well.

Tupelo's menu leans Southern; the restaurant also has a late night weekend brunch.
