The Arlington sports bar will reopen this Friday, May 8 at 5 p.m. as Summers 2. They're unveiling a "New Gourmet Sports Bar Menu" and doing happy hour food and drink specials from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m., according to a news blast.
Summers closed last New Year's Eve with vague plans to move to a new location. Back in January, signage appeared in the windows of the shuttered bar announcing it would reopen in the same location at 1530 N. Courthouse Road.
The bar, a favorite among soccer fans, has been a fixture of Arlington's Rosslyn-Ballston corridor for more than 30 years.
