Opening Report: Granite City Brewing, Bistro on U Both Open

1) National Harbor: It's opening day for Granite City Brewing Company. This is the 34th location of the brewery chain, which is based in Minnesota. They're serving up dishes like ponzu salmon, flatbreads and steaks. The restaurant is more than 10,000 square feet in size, with seats for more than 300 people. 2) U Street: Bistro on U has opened its doors. The menu has a Cajun influence, with Po boys, gumbo and brunch, according to PoPville. Status: Certified open. 928 U St. NW; no website yet.
