Steve Salis, a co-founder of beloved DC-based mini-chain &pizza, is stepping down as the company's CEO, reports Washington Business Journal. This is shortly after &pizza, which has 10 DC-area locations (plus representation in two airports) and more on the way, raised $10M in investment cash to fund a further expansion.
Salis told Bethesda Magazine that the departure had nothing to do with the new investment — but that it was time "to bring in a blue chip, top-notch CEO to run the company."
