Another Sexy-Looking Steakhouse: Inside Claudia's, Coming to K Street

There's room for more than 300 people in this massive new Latin addition.

Missy Frederick is the Cities Director for Eater.

Claudia's Steakhouse is the latest meat purveyor to come to the district. The restaurant is from Claudia Rivas, with chef Brad Race at the helm and the steakhouse has a Latin feel in D.C.'s Investment Building.

The restaurant has room for 300 people seated (400 in general), at 7,500 square feet in size. Grizform Design and Adams Restaurant Group handled the restaurant's design, which includes Murano glass wallpaper, gleaming tiling and plenty of red and black leather. There's also an oyster bar and private dining options. There will be Latin music and salsa dancing in the evenings.

On the menu expect "prime" empanadas, Negra Modelo drunken ribeye, and more. Claudia's has some soft opening events and limited hours this week, with a private opening bash next Thursday and a grand opening June 19.
