Summerfest D.C., A Barbecue Pop-Up and More

1) Summerfest DC

Where: The Fairgrounds in Navy Yard

When: Saturday starting at noon

What: More than 115 breweries and wineries will be on hand for this festival, which has plenty for all lovers of adult beverages. More info here.

2) Westend Bistro's Barbecue Pop-Up

Where: Westend Bistro

1190 22nd St. NW

When: Fridays 12-2 p.m.

What: After two years off, Westend Bistro is bringing back its barbecue pop-up, starting this weekend. Look for menu items like brisket and pulled pork.

3) Bourbon Bash

Where: RFD (Check-in)

When: Saturday at 3 p.m.

What: This organized bourbon crawl has whiskey pours at eight different venues, plus other discounts. More here.

4) The Pursuit's Anniversary

Where: 1421 H St. NE

When: Sunday, starting at 2 p.m.

What: To celebrate its first year, the bar will be opening up early and offering up drink specials all night (and day) long. They'll also have additional events next week.

5) Sunday Supper

Where: Union Market Dock 5

When: Sunday at 5:30 p.m.

What: This annual benefit from the Friends of James Beard highlights female chefs this year (it's a big-ticket item at $250 a pop). Details are here.
