D.C. is getting three new pop-ups this month.

Diners looking for novel experiences are getting new choices this summer. Three new pop-ups are operating this month, including a preview of one of the most anticipated new restaurants opening this summer. Read on for details.

There Goes the Neighborhood! House Party: Nick Stefenelli is previewing the drinks for his upcoming restaurant, Masseria. He and head head bartender Julien-Pierre Bourgon will showcase the new cocktails from an Airsteam trailer at 6th Street and Neal Place, NE. Drinks will include four beers on tap, four frozen drinks, punch and a specialty cocktail on draft. The pop-up will operate tomorrow, June 17; Wednesday June 24 and Wednesday, July 1 from 4 p.m. - 10 p.m.

Kafta Burgers: Chef Sima Quatanani is now doing Middle Eastern inspired burgers at EatsPlace in Petworth. Options include a parsley and onion beef burger or a cumin scented chicken burger, both stuffed with garlic, cheese and pine nuts. Vegetarians can order a pesto-topped burger made with halloumi cheese. All burgers are $11. The pop-up is running now until mid-July on weeknights 5:30-9:30 p.m. and Fridays and Saturdays 5:30 p.m.-12 a.m.

United States of Ramen: D.C. is getting another ramen pop-up, but this time it's at Prequel in Penn Quarter. Chef Scott Hoffner is doing three types of fusion ramen inspired by different American states: The Carolinas, Louisiana and Washington State. The event starts tomorrow, June 17 and runs until mid-July with seatings on Wednesdays and Thursdays at 5:30 p.m. and 9:00 p.m. Diners can buy tickets ($16) in advance on Prequel's website.
