The first brick and mortar location of beloved burrito truck Rito Loco is getting ready to open. It's one of the most anticipated restaurant openings in Shaw. Owner Louie Hankins says it's looking like next weekend for opening day at this point.
The interior features their giant burrito logo incorporated into a colorful mural. Exposed brick walls, wood paneling and exposed light fixtures are also featured in the design. Stool seating faces and a large window that looks onto the street. There's also a few tall tables.
Expect new menu items when it opens, including five tacos with fillings like fish, lobster and a vegetarian option. They'll also serve "fitness bowls" with quinoa instead of rice. The restaurant will be open 24/7 on weekends.
