2) Cooking with Bourbon Class

What: This class combines bourbon tasting and cocktails with bourbon-spiked recipes like mini pies and bourbon-glazed chicken thighs. Cost is $85.

3) Summer Solstice Farm Dinner

Where: Arcadia Farm

9000 Richmond Hwy, Alexandria, Va.

When: Saturday at 4 p.m.

4) Sommday

Where: Bourbon Steak

When: Saturday at 2 p.m.

What: Sommeliers from Doi Moi, Proof and Bourbon Steak will offer tastings of oddball wines, and there will be some canapes, too. Tickets are $40. Call to RSVP.

5) Northern Virginia Brewfest

Where: Bull Run Regional Park

When: Saturday and Sunday
