Arlington has lost an Irish bar. Chain Ri Ra has closed its Clarendon location, ARLNOW reports.
The company decided not to renew its lease when it expired. They may consider other concepts for the future, though.
The restaurant has posted a goodbye message on Facebook. "We are sorry to say that RiRa Clarendon has pulled its final pint, and is now closed. A huge thank you to all of our friends in and around Clarendon, as well as the wonderful staff, for what was 10 fantastic years. We are sorry to be leaving, but the Clarendon pub and the people that made it such a great place to spend time in have left us with great memories that will stay with us forever," it reads.
There are other Ri Ra's in the area, such as a big one that opened in Georgetown last year.
