Opening Report: Centrolina Osteria, Kaypi, Sisters Thai, More Open

Plus, Tupelo Honey Cafe debuts in Arlington.

1) ROCKVILLE: Kaypi, a new Peruvian chicken place, has opened in Rockville, according to Robert Dyer's blog. It's in the Twinbrook Marketplace shopping center. Status: Certified open. 2005 Veirs Mill Road, Rockville, Md.; no website.

2) PENN QUARTER: Yesterday was opening day for the restaurant portion of Centrolina from Amy Brandwein. Here's Eater's tour of the space. It's a place for pastas, wood-fired fish and more. 3) ARLINGTON: Yesterday was also the opening day for Tupelo Honey Cafe, the North Carolina transplant that has opened its doors in Clarendon. Expect homey, Southern food from this chain; see the space here. Status: Certified open. 1616 N. Troy St.; website.

4) MERRIFIELD: Sisters Thai opened over the weekend in Mosaic District. This is from the same team that runs the Sisters Living Room Cafe in Fairfax. The restaurant is in the same area of the property as the new Brine restaurant. Status: Certified open. 2985 District
