Chef Justin Bittner is now adding his own spin to Cafe Saint-Ex's menu.

The chef, who came back to Bar Pilar a few months ago to work under executive chef Jesse Miller, has now redesigned the menu at sister restaurant Cafe Saint-Ex. Those who went to the restaurant years ago will find the new menu familiar — its aim is to harken back to the restaurant's French-ish bistro roots.

Bittner's new menu has dishes like Alaskan halibut with spring peas, clams and serrano ham, chicken thighs with garlic sauce and duck confit with Soldier Bean ragout. Much of the produce comes from Bittner's own farm in Howard County.
