The Passenger's comeback is official.
Fritz Hahn reports the beloved bar has signed a new lease at 1539 Seventh St. NW, right near Ivy & Coney. The plan is to open the bar in the new spot next February.
The cocktail bar shuttered in its original location last December due to redevelopment of its building. Plans were for the bar to find a new location; sister bar The Columbia Room will be reopening in Blagden Alley.
The eventual plan is for the space to have a roof deck. Dmitri Monis, brother to Komi's Johnny Monis, will helm the kitchen.
