Bayou Restaurant is taking a brief summer break.
Owner Bo Blair tells Eater the restaurant will close for maintenance and repairs from Aug. 3-Sept. 8.
During that time, the staff from Bayou will be on hand to open Due South, Blair's next venture, likely somewhere around Aug. 10, though an exact date is still being determined. Due South is headed to Navy Yard's development The Yards, and will serve Southern food.
