Westray’s Finest Ice Cream truck launches today, reports the Washington Post Express. The project has been in the works for about three years while owner Westray Paul pursued ice cream mentorships at shops in New York.
Flavors could include honey buttermilk and strawberry, espresso, vanilla, and matcha tea. Westray plans to use local ingredients, which currently includes milk from Trickling Springs Creamery. Over time, he hopes to use other products from D.C. producers.
