Shake Shack's monster chicken sandwich debuts in New York today. The catch: it's only available in the restaurant's Brooklyn locations, and for a limited time.
Eater reached out to a Shake Shack spokeswoman, who said there "no plans at the moment" to bring the sandwich to D.C. The ChickenShack sandwich features a fried chicken breast topped with lettuce, pickles and buttermilk herb mayo. It's priced at $6.29.

Here's a reason for hope, though. Shake Shack first launched its breakfast sandwiches in New York and at the time did not have plans to bring them to D.C. That changed in May when they launched in Union Station.
