José Andrés will open up another incarnation of The Bazaar, this time in New York.
The restaurant will be part of the SLS New York, which just secured $109 million in financing for construction. It will open in summer of 2016, according to a press release.
This will be the first New York restaurant for the D.C. chef, who first opened a Bazaar in L.A. No specific details about the restaurant were announced.
Andrés made headlines yesterday for pulling out of a deal to open a restaurant in Donald Trump's hotel in D.C. after the business mogul made inflammatory remarks about immigrants.
