The Mad Fox Brewing Taproom is almost ready to open at 2218 Wisconsin Avenue, NW. They first announced plans to open a D.C. taproom in 2013, but then encountered several construction and permitting hurtles while renovating the old building. Mad Fox Brewing opened its Falls Church brewpub in 2010.
Beer lovers can expect a selection of 16 draft beer and three cask ales. The design sports wooden booths, black and white photos on the walls and plenty of brick. The taproom will also have a full food menu and serve dinner seven days a week. There will be happy hour on weekdays from 4-6 p.m. August 17 is the planned opening date.
