Will Artley has a new gig — the chef has returned to Northern Virginia to take on a chef's position at Neyla in Reston.
Artley says he's also brought some of his team from previous restaurants to the Mediterranean restaurant. He'll start putting his own twist on the menu starting next week: he's already been playing with the flatbread and pita dough recipes there. Artley says he's excited for the opportunity to bring new life to a restaurant that's been around for so long.
Also on the docket: Terra, a raw pop-up, which he'll also host in Reston a few days a week. More details on the pop-up are coming soon. "I've been wanting to do this raw project for awhile," he told Eater.
Artley is a veteran of such restaurants as BLT Steak, Pizzeria Orso and Evening Star Cafe. Neyla recently moved from Georgetown to a new location in Reston.
