Republic Kolache will set up shop within American Ice Company, starting next weekend.
The kolache purveyors will be found at the bar weekly from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., beginning August 22.
The company is the first outlet dedicated to the pastry, popular in Texas, in D.C. They'll have both sweet and savory kolaches available. They're working with D.C. and Texas artists to design custom tray liners for the kolaches, too. Fillings will range from blueberry to jalapeno sausage and cheese.
