This week is Restaurant Week in D.C., which means tons of restaurants around town will be offering special prix fixe menus at a discounted price for diners to enjoy.
But what about diners who wish to avoid the promotion, whether they're ducking crowds, averse to prix fixe menus or have other concerns about the deal? Here's a list of 50 new, interesting or reliable places which are not participating in the official Restaurant Week (though some have competing deals of their own — more about that later this week). Update: Now organized by neighborhood for easier searching.
