The Pub-Inspired Mad Fox Taproom Opens Today in Glover Park

Mad Fox Brewing's Taproom opens today at 4 p.m. at 2218 Wisconsin Ave. NW. There's a full bar and 16 tap lines for pouring everything from their standard beers like Kellerbier Kolsch to seasonal brews. They'll also serve root beer, B. Nektar mead and Millstone cider. Happy hour runs from 3-7 p.m. on weekdays with $2 off draught beer.

The design by Streetsense was inspired by old British pubs and features wooden booths and black and white photos. It also highlights the old building's structural details like exposed brick walls.

The menu, designed by chef Brandan Bozier with assistance from Travis Weiss of Mad Fox's Falls Church brewpub, focuses on pub fare. There's a burger, crab cake sandwich, pork belly confit and more.  Check it out below:
