Bo Blair's new restaurant Due South has had its soft opening in Navy Yard.

After a brief debut this weekend, they are now open for dinner through Sept. 7 with a limited menu. They'll offer lunch, dinner and weekend brunch after that, with a grand opening scheduled for Sept. 10.

Due South is in the Lumber Shed building in The Yards development. Expect dishes like hot chicken, smoked wings, Brunswick stew and catfish (the chef Rusty Holman is from Blair's Bayou restaurant, which is temporarily closed through Labor Day). The soft opening menu is here (updated). Status: Soft-opening. 301 Water St. SEwebsite.
