The Mid-Atlantic will get its first location of Earl's Kitchen + Bar when the restaurant opens a location in Tysons Corner this October.

This is the sixth U.S. location for the Canadian restaurant chain, which is family-owned. There are more than 60 locations total. Executive chef Ryan Spicknell will oversee the menu in Tysons. Expect such dishes as pasta, steak, smashed burgers, and some international dishes like curries and bibimbap. The company consults with a "collective" of chefs across the country for input on dishes.

The restaurant chain makes its own bread and aims to use local ingredients. There are also cocktails, beer, and artwork on the wall from local artists. It will have 280 seats and be more than 10,000 square feet in size. Beverage Director Cameron Bogue is an alum of Daniel Boulud's restaurants. Earl's is opening within theTysons VITA luxury apartment building this fall.
