Tai Shan Chinese Restaurant will close its doors in D.C.
A spokeswoman for the restaurant says the last day will be Aug. 29. The restaurant operated for 21 years in its location at 622 H St. NW.
The restaurant (which shares a name with the National Zoo's beloved panda) was a longtime holdout as more and more traditional Chinese restaurants have disappeared from the Chinatown corridor. A location in Maryland of the same restaurant closed earlier.
