New York's The Little Beet is opening a location in D.C.

There's a craigslist ad looking for a general manager to help bring the restaurant concept to Washington, as well as several other D.C. job ads on the restaurant's website. A spokesperson confirmed to Eater this morning they will open at 1212 18th Street NW (where Pei Wei used to be), and are aiming for an early October opening. "We're excited to enter the DC market and we're hoping to grow our presence there," he said.

The Little Beet, which has two New York locations and another on the way, serves healthy and seasonal food items like salads, chicken bowls and veggie patties. They also have create-your-own plates with choices like salmon, quinoa and charred kale.
