Stanford Grill will open in Rockville next month at 2000 Tower Oaks Boulevard. It's the second location for the restaurant concept by Blueridge Restaurant Group— the first is in Columbia, Md. The menu will feature items like wood-fired fish, rotisserie chicken, and sushi.
The staff includes chef Sean Kinoshita of Tao Asian Bistro in Las Vegas and General Manager Patrick Desotelle, a veteran of Le Diplomate and Zaytinya. Head baker Christian Haug, formerly of Swiss Bakery in Springfield and Praline Bakery in Bethesda, will bake all the restaurant's breads and sandwich buns. He'll also oversee an open air bakery at the restaurant.
Stanford Grill will accommodate 300 diners and feature a bar, lounge and two large patios. It will be open for lunch, dinner and Sunday brunch.
