What: Veuve Clicquot's yellow truck is making stops in D.C. this weekend at Pinea on Friday, Poste on Saturday and at Fig & Olive on Sunday. Guests can drink Veuve Clicquot Yellow Label champagne by the glass ($18-$21) or bottle ($86-$90) while playing lawn games. 2) Michael Jackson Birthday Celebration
What: The restaurant is celebrating Michael Jackson's birthday. There will be dishes and cocktails inspired by the singer and a DJ spinning all his hits. Reservations are encouraged.

3) Dinner and a Movie
What: Watch a free outdoor screening of "Planet of the Apes" while munching on a complimentary bag of popcorn provided by Monroe Street Market. 4) End of Summer Beer Event
What: The Alexandria restaurant tapped a special firkin of Port City's Optimal Wit with Nectarines on Thursday, and they'll be pouring it over the next 72 hours or until it runs out. Pints are going for $5 per glass. More information is available here.
