Michelle Obama Eats at H Street Hot Spot Maketto

Michelle Obama has a way of knowing where D.C.'s hot spots are, that's for sure.

The latest restaurant stop was Maketto, Erik Bruner-Yang's new restaurant in the Atlas District. She joined a group of friends there for a birthday dinner, according to a rep. They ordered "pretty much everything on the menu." A particular favorite: the apple brandy pie from resident pastry chef Erica Skolnik.

Time to update the Michelle Obama restaurant map. Next stop, media darling Thip Khao, perhaps?
