The owners of Echostage are opening a new club, Soundcheck, on K Street Aug. 12.
Soundcheck will be located at 1420 K St. NW. The 4,400 square foot venue is being billed as a "no frills nod to the 80s and 90s club decades," according to a press release.
The club will have two bars, 14 tables and a dance floor, with several televisions and laser lighting. They plan to have nightly theme nights, too, like "Glow Thursdays," featuring electronic dance music.
