Boundary Road Hosts Anxo Preview Dinner; Lupo Verde Launches Family-Style Brunch

ATLAS DISTRICTBoundary Road is hosting another preview dinner on Monday, August 17 at 7 p.m. for Anxo a cidery and pintxos bar opening later this year in Shaw. Tickets for the four-course dinner (only available online) are $85 per person and include food, beverage, tax and tip. [EaterWire]

U STREETLupo Verde is launching a family-style brunch menu on August 15. For $35 per person (tax and gratuity not included), diners can order one antipasti, one side dish, two pastas or egg dishes and one beverage from the menu. This new option will only be available on weekends and must be ordered for the entire table. [EaterWire]

STAFF SHUFFLES— Joshua Hermias has accepted a position as chief operating officer of Paul Ruppert's restaurant and retail group, which includes Crane & Turtle, Petworth Citizen and the upcoming Slim's Diner. He'll oversee culinary operations, concept strategy and manage business operations. Hermias is currently the economic development director for the Georgetown Business Improvement District (BID).
