Arlington was saddened to hear decade-old Willow Restaurant will be closing its doors later this month. But the restaurant has offered a few ways to say goodbye to the neighborhood spot, from discounted beers to an Irish wake.
*Starting today, a special selection of reserve wines will be offered for 50 percent off. The wines available will change as bottles sell out.
*Tomorrow from 2-5 p.m. the restaurant will host a benefit for an Elephant sanctuary geared towards kids (including an elephant bouncy house); they'll have food and take donations at the door.
*Next Thursday will be a craft beer night with $4 beers and smoked Buffalo wings.
*Next Friday will be the restaurant's last Beef on Weck night (reservations suggested so they don't run out.
*Saturday is the last night of business, and they'll host an "Irish Wake" with a party, free food and a limited menu.
