1) Madonna Happy Hour
What: Mango Tree is celebrating Madonna's tour coming to D.C. with three special cocktails inspired by the singer. They'll be available right before the show at the Verizon Center. The bar lounge will also play Madonna's songs and offer their regular happy hour menu.

2) Snallygaster Beer Festival
What: This craft beer festival comes from the team behind ChurchKey, Birch & Barley, Bluejacket, Rustico and more. They'll tap over 300 unique craft beers from around the world. There will also be live music and food from Rappahannock Oyster Co., Dolcezza, Red Apron and many others. Advance tickets start at $35 and are available online. Those without advance tickets can pay a $10 donation at the door and buy food and beverage tickets separately.

3) District Doughnut's One Year Anniversary
What: The shop will celebrate with a special menu, including birthday cake doughnuts, tattoos for kids and coffee mug giveaways. They're also giving away one free vanilla bean doughnut with every order.

4) Washington Redskins Season Opener Party
What: There will be multiple outdoor TVs playing the game, along with 75 cent wings, $4 DC Brau drafts and bottles and giveaways of DC Brau and Atlas Brew swag.

5) ZAP! The History and Hows of the 20th Century’s Most Influential Cooking Appliance
