There's a very mild chill in the air, so of course that means pumpkin spice is everywhere — including places it shouldn't be. Eater offers 49 dubious pumpkin spice-flavored foods from over the years (Pumpkin Spice Four Loko?). [E]

This is just a solid list of area wine bars. As a bar category, the wine bars that D.C. has are pretty great, but it's somewhat surprising there aren't more of them. [Thrillist]

In honor of Zima

Speaking of wine, Fainting Goat currently has a funny spin on it on its cocktail menu. The restaurant is making its own wine cooler-inspired cocktails, which should bring some nostalgia to former rebellious teenagers everywhere (try the one that mixes cola and red wine, similar to the Spanish kalimotxo).
