Nobu is coming to D.C., confirms Washington Business Journal. The famous sushi chain, overseen by chef Nobuyuki Matsuhisa, is planning for a fall 2016 opening right now.
The 11,600 square foot restaurant will open at 2501 M St. NW inside a condominium building. They'll have a sushi bar, a cocktail bar, a main dining room, two private dining rooms and two private patios overlooking Rock Creek Park.
There are more than 30 Nobu-affiliated restaurants worldwide, including in cities like Hong Kong and New York. Washington Business Journal first learned about the possibility of Nobu coming to D.C. back in December.
