PENN QUARTER— Fig & Olive reopens for dinner service tonight following a temporary closure due to a salmonella outbreak. For the next month, they're offering every diner at their D.C. location a complimentary dessert with their meal. [EaterWire]

OKTOBERFEST— DBGB in CityCenterDC is changing up their regular bar bites menu for Oktoberfest. From September 19 until October 4, they're serving dishes (priced $8-$11) like pork schnitzel or bratwurst on a pretzel bun.
