Last Call for Stetson's — The Bar is Closing Oct. 31

Stetson's closing is official. A bar manager tells Eater the bar is closing permanently October 31.

"Come down and enjoy the last few days with us while you still can. And bring your friends. All of them!" a manager said via email.

The building and the liquor license for the U Street bar has been sold to Douglas Development. Stetson's team did not have any information about what might replace it (Eater had reached out to Douglas Development when rumors of the closing surfaced).

The bar is at 1610 U St. NW.
