New brewery Handsome Beer Company is launching in D.C. and Maryland this week.
Right now, owners Matt Humbard and Graham MacDonald are doing a Galaxy Saison, an Abbey pale ale and a brown ale. The pair also promises four more beers coming soon.
The owners are doing a series of launch events, including at Meridian Pint on Wednesday, September 23 at 5p.m. and at Pizzeria Paradiso on Thursday, September 24 from 5 - 7 p.m. A full schedule of events can be found here.
According to a recent interview in the Washington Post, Humbard and MacDonald are currently contracting brew space at Old Bust Brewery in Warrenton. They also hope to launch in Virginia soon.
