Check Out the Art Deco Vibe and Tiles Galore at Silver in Bethesda

Maryland is getting another late night option.

Silver opens tomorrow in Bethesda at 7150 Woodmont Ave. The upscale diner near Bethesda Row comes from the team behind Silver Diner— Robert Giaimo and Executive Cheg Ype Von Hengst.

The sparkling, Art Deco-inspired interior features sleek red booths, dark wood and a striking white, black and blue tiled floor. The menu is full of classic American dishes with a modern twist. Think kale and blue cheese salad, chimichurri chicken wings, short rib ragu and peanut butter and pretzel sundaes. According to the restaurant's website, they're working with over a dozen local farms and purveyors.

The restaurant is only serving dinner and late night meals until Tuesday, September 29 when it opens for breakfast and lunch. (4 p.m. to midnight). Regular hours will be Sunday through Thursday, 7 a.m. to 12 p.m. and Friday and Saturday, 7 a.m. to 2 a.m.
