BlackSalt Temporarily Closing

They're revamping the interior and the menu.

BlackSalt Official

Starting today, BlackSalt, the Palisades venue that serves as both an upscale seafood restaurant and a market, will close temporarily for both menu and interior revamping, reports Washingtonian. The restaurant experienced a pipe breakage back in February — which resulted in five inches of water in the space — helping to set the renovations in motion.

The menu won't look too different, though executive chef Mike Huff told Washingtonian he'd like to add more Italian and fresh pasta dishes. Exact reopening date to-be-determined, though it's looking like three weeks to a month of closure.
