BLT Prime will open at Trump Hotel International, reports The Washington Post. This news comes just months after both José Andrés and Geoffrey Zakarian dumped their Trump-related restaurant projects because of the presidential candidate's controversial statements.
BLT Prime is considered the "more elevated" concept from BLT Steak (the latter of which has been in operation downtown since 2006.) This isn't the first BLT-Trump partnership, though — there are locations at a few Trump properties scattered across the States.
"It's a business decision, 100 percent," Keith Treyball, president of ESquared Hospitality Group, which operates both BLT concepts, told The Post.
