Willow is Closing in Arlington

The restaurant was open for ten years.

Willow Restaurant is closing in Arlington.

The restaurant operated for a decade in Ballston. Washingtonian first reported the news, citing a personal Facebook page from its operations director, which calls the decision "complicated" (a mix of rising rates, changes in dining and issues with the landlord). The closing has not yet been noted on the restaurant's Facebook page.

Chef Tracy O'Grady and pastry chef Kate Jansen all owned and operated the restaurant together. Its last day will be Sept. 19, according to the report.
