Doughnuts are hardly a divisive food: in general, most people tend to love them. But there is one way that the breakfast pastry can divide individuals. Some prefer the more dense, cake style of doughnut. Others gravitate towards the airy yeast doughnut. Some restaurants specialize in a particular kind; others try to play to both audiences (Astro Doughnuts, formerly only a yeast doughnut shop, announced this week it will offer cake doughnuts at the Falls Church location).
