Two Boots Pizza, the New York pizza joint known for its Cajun-style pies, will open a location in D.C. — with plans for more here.
The pizzeria will open up at 1025 H St. NE. Washington Business Journal first reported the lease. A May opening is the plan.
Co-owner Leon Hartman tells Eater the plan is to eventually expand throughout both the D.C. and Baltimore region. "Baltimore/DC will be one of our key focus markets, along with New York City and L.A.," he said. A Baltimore location is already open.
Two Boots' slices and pies are traditionally topped with items like shrimp and crawfish. They also tend to have customized pies for each location.
