The Columbia Room will make its return to D.C. Feb. 9 at its new home in Shaw's Blagden Alley.

The new location is 2,400 square feet in size, with an Italian mosaic mural decorating the bar. The plan is to divide it into three areas: a Spirits Library, an outdoor Punch Garden and a Tasting Room. The tasting room will have room for 14 people with three and five-course options, with drinks from Derek Brown and J.P. Fetherston. UPDATE: The pricing will be $75 for 3 courses and $100 for 5 courses. The spirits library has room for 20 people with more a la carte options.

The punch garden won't arrive until the spring.

The Columbia Room, along with sister bar The Passenger, closed a year ago due to redevelopment at its original location. The Passenger is also relocating to a new space in Shaw.
