NOMA— Mason Dixie is launching a Thursday test kitchen at Union Market starting today. They'll sell several savory items from 3 p.m. onward, including their take on a banh mi. [PoP]

DOWNTOWN— Olivia's Diner just started late night weekend hours to appeal to the post-bar closure crowd. They're basically open from 8 a.m. Friday until 5 p.m. Sunday, with a closure during Saturday dinner service at 5 p.m., reopening 2 a.m. Sunday. Did that just make sense? [EaterWire]
