Ready for a crudo bar and thin-crust pizzas, K Street? Michael Schlow's team has released some details about what to expect from Alta Strada, the Italian restaurant he will open downtown (another location seems poised for Mosaic District).

*The Tico and Riggsby restaurateur's new place will be located at 465 K Street in the City Vista development, home to such restaurants as Mandu and Busboys & Poets. This is the former Kushi space, and it is 3,900 square feet in size.

*EditLab at Streetsense will handle the restaurant's design, which will include a separate crudo bar that will open later. Also coming later: a patio.

*Expected menu items: thin-crust pizzas, homemade pastas and entrees influenced by Schlow's Italian travels.

*Anthony Marlowe will oversee the beverage program; Eric DiNardo has been tapped as the sommelier. Beer, wine and cocktail lists will lean Italian.

*A March opening is the target.
