Francisco Ferrufino IN at Brookland Pint

Chef Francisco Ferrufino is taking the helm at Brookland Pint. He's currently executive chef at Meridian Pint, Brookland Pint's sister bar in Columbia Heights. Now he'll oversee the kitchens at both locations.

Ferrufino is a native of El Salvador and trained at Carlos Rosario International Career Center. He once cooked for Supreme Court Justice Sonia Sotomayor while he was a student there. Then he even convinced her to dine at Meridian Pint.

He's replacing Rebecca Hassel, who has served as chef since Brookland Pint opened in 2014. Check out Ferrufino's new menu below.
