The region lost two restaurants over the holiday weekend, kicking off 2016's restaurant closures.
1) MCLEAN: A representative for Bistro Vivant in McLean told Eater their last night of service was New Year's Eve. Don Rockwell forum poster JBag57 had noticed a sign on the door announcing the shutter. The French restaurant experienced at least three chef changes since it opened in 2012.
2) WHEATON: East Moco reports Elevation Burger has also closed in Wheaton Plaza after four years in business. The chain is known for serving organic, grass-fed, free-range beef. The other locations in Virginia remain open.
