Seasonal Pantry is closing at the beginning of April, according to a post on the five-year-old restaurant's Facebook page. After the lease expires, Chef Dan O'Brien is heading to Colorado to work on a new project with Breckenridge Distillery. He writes:
"Ending the Seasonal Pantry chapter and starting a new one is bittersweet to say the least. We can’t thank our friends in the community enough for helping us with our success over the years."
Seasonal Pantry currently operates as a supper club, serving a tasting menu to customers. In March, Brown had said he was looking for a new location in D.C. The food market section of the business, which highlighted local products, closed last June.
